Large, air-conditioned rooms with balconies are the draw here, a short walk from the beach around Klong Khong. The setup is simple and priced for backpackers and longer stays, with enough room to unpack.
The front restaurant does Thai food, Italian staples, coffee and notably good cocktails. Grab a drink by the pool access or use it as a midday refuge from the road heat – the sea is close enough to make a dedicated hotel pool less of a tragedy.
Scooter rental, laundry and trip arrangements sit on site, which keeps the practical bits contained. Rooms are quiet, spacious and functional, though fittings can be basic and Wi-Fi weakens in rooms farther from the pool.
Stay here for beach proximity, room size and a low-key base near restaurants and shops. The balconies are the useful sort: somewhere to dry swimwear and sit with a coffee, not a ceremonial ledge overlooking six inches of shrubbery.
