Description

Linen dresses, small handbags and jewellery with enough character to survive the trip home – KiKi is Saladan’s answer to the souvenir that does not become drawer ballast.

The shop is compact and tightly edited. Dresses, tops, shoes, purses and accessories lean feminine, light and wearable in island heat, while locally made pieces stop the collection drifting into generic resort-shop territory. The jewellery is particularly strong: small enough for a suitcase, interesting enough to avoid the usual shell-and-regret situation.

Perfume is the sleeper hit here. Test it on skin rather than paper, then wander Saladan for a while; a scent that still works after heat, motorbike fumes and lunch has earned its luggage space.

KiKi costs more than the market stalls because the selection has been thought through. Gift hunters, linen addicts and anyone needing one decent outfit beyond a beach cover-up will find plenty to inspect, especially the bags and accessories near the jewellery displays.
