Description
Chocolate and peanut butter soft serve with caramel sauce and honey-roasted cashews is the sort of thing that ruins lesser desserts for the rest of the week. Ice & Cream Lanta does thick, light soft serve, homemade scoops, sorbet and Tornado-style cups with mix-ins layered through the ice cream, not abandoned in a sad pile on top.
The flavour board changes often, so regulars get a fresh excuse to return. Peanut butter is the house obsession, while yoghurt with mango sorbet, yoghurt with passion fruit, blackcurrant, salted caramel, mint Oreo and double chocolate brownie all have their own devoted following. Coconut vegan ice cream and fruit sorbets keep the dairy-avoiders from staring sadly at the freezer.
Maryz runs a bright little shop with enough toppings to turn a cone into an engineering project. The portions are generous, the mood is playful, and the dogs at the entrance are charming but not entitled to your cashews.
This is Koh Lanta’s proper after-dinner sweet stop, especially for soft-serve fanatics and families with children who regard toppings as a food group. The Tornado cups are the clever pick: every spoonful gets biscuit, sauce or candy.
