Crispy pork belly, seared tuna and waterfall beef are the reasons Cozy stays on the dinner shortlist. The Thai tapas menu is built for picking across the table, with gold bags, Thai nachos, shrimp salad and fresh rice-paper spring rolls giving you far more to argue about than a single curry ever could.
The sea bass curry has serious depth, while the tuna steak arrives properly seared. Western dishes hold their own too: the burger has a following, lamb with mashed potato is rich and comforting, and the bread is better than island dinner bread has any right to be.
It feels more polished than the usual roadside Thai place, with a proper drinks list covering wine, German beer and gin. Friday brings live music, kept at dinner volume.
Book ahead for the rear patio, especially if you want the quieter adults-only seating. Cozy suits a long, shared dinner with drinks and several plates; it is not the cheap-and-quick pad thai stop.
