Description

The Swedish kebab pizza has no business being this good on Koh Lanta, yet here we are: crisp base, proper kebab meat and creamy sauce with the unmistakable taste of a Swedish late-night habit. Cilla Special and the meatballs keep the Nordic side of the menu interesting, while the pizzas arrive in full-size territory.

Thai food comes as tapas, built for a table that wants pork belly, panko prawns, calamari and several small Thai dishes. The panko prawns and pork belly are the strongest calls. Portions are small and the bill climbs quickly, so treat it as a sharing dinner with cocktails.

The Thai Mango cocktail is the house drink to start with, and the Thai Basil is worth a second round. Margaritas hold up too, including the mango version. Beachfront tables face the sunset, with low lighting and enough polish to make a bottle of wine feel sensible.

Frankie runs the bar with recommendations, cocktails and occasional singing. Friday evenings can bring a fire show, which is exactly the sort of thing pizza was invented to accompany.
