Description

The back deck hangs over the water on stilts, with hammocks, sunrise views and a very civilised place to wait for a ferry. Boho sits close to Saladan Pier, yet the rooms stay quiet after dark – a rare trick in a port town.

Private rooms with en-suite bathrooms give it more guesthouse than dormitory energy. Strong air-conditioning, decent showers, roomy beds and refillable drinking water cover the practical bits without turning the stay into a spreadsheet.

Breakfast on the deck is the right use of the view. Pancakes, iced lattes, fruit shakes and proper coffee land well before a boat crossing; Thai dishes and European plates make the restaurant more than a token hostel kitchen.

The shared kitchen has a fridge for your own supplies, while the terrace handles slow afternoons and sunset drinks nicely. Budget travellers and divers based around Saladan will get the most from it; the room at the far end of the dock puts the sea directly below your floorboards (excellent, until you remember basic physics).
