Description
Papaya salad, Pad Thai and the mysterious “No Name” dish are the food orders here, eaten a few metres from the sand with sunset in full view. The Thai menu has more pull than the standard beach-bar filler, and fruit shakes and coffee keep the bar useful through a workday.
Treehouses, hammocks and wooden nooks are scattered through the beachfront lounge, shaded by trees. Music stays mellow, the seating is deliberately uneven, and nobody is trying to turn the evening into a full-moon rehearsal.
The bungalows are simple jungle huts with mosquito nets, hammocks and an outdoor-living feel. Some have shared bathrooms and non-flush toilets, so book elsewhere if your holiday requires tiled surfaces and a hairdryer with opinions.
Bee Bee fits budget beach stays, long hammock sessions and remote workers happy to buy snacks and drinks while using the restaurant tables. The beach in front is sandy and clear of rocks, with the best seats facing straight into the sunset.
