Coffee gets taken seriously here. The medium-roast iced Americano has a fruity, naturally sweet edge from beans roasted on-site, while the matcha latte arrives smooth and properly made. The iced caramel latte is for anyone who wants caffeine with a little theatre.
Breakfast has range without turning into a laminated-menu hostage situation. Go savoury for the BBQ chicken wrap, Mexican chicken quesadilla, avocado toast with smoked salmon and poached eggs, or the burrito. The tropical French toast comes thick-cut, caramelised and loaded with fruit, cookie crumble, crunchy bacon and maple syrup.
Warm wood tables, neat plating and baby chairs make it an easy stop with a mixed crew. Bowls, croissants and sandwiches all hold up, but the French toast is the plate that explains repeat visits.
