Description
Sukiyaki beef under a soft omelette is the order here: savoury, properly seasoned and far more memorable than a roadside-looking setup has any right to be. The orange smoothie is fresh and thick, and the mango shakes do not arrive wearing a chemistry-set flavour.
Banjib sits opposite the Seven Eleven in Klong Nin, with the sort of simple street-food arrangement that keeps the attention where it belongs. Red curry chicken with rice and omelette lands well, while the red and green tofu curries bring actual chilli heat. Pad Thai, papaya salad and noodle dishes cover the rest of the hungry-table basics without turning the menu into a phone book.
Portions are generous and prices stay friendly by island standards. Food is cooked fresh, so a full patch of tables means a wait; this is not the place for anyone timing dinner around a sunset photo shoot.
The room is functional, not decorative, and plating is strictly subordinate to flavour. Klong Nin has smarter-looking dinner options, but few put this much punch into a curry and an omelette.
