Description
The 1953 Chinese house, old family graves and broken pier make Baan Tae-Leng feel less like an attraction and more like a coastal footnote that refused to disappear. Volcanic-looking rocks run into the sea below, with mangroves, kingfishers and long views across the water.
Ride out here on a scooter for the road as much as the destination. Koh Lanta Noi gets quieter as you go, then the house appears beside the shore with an air of forgotten trade-route grandeur. Bring a camera; the weathered buildings, old hut and rusting machinery have done the set design themselves.
