Description
Mangrove mud, sandy tracks and a proper beach run give Tiger ATV more texture than a lap-round-a-field quad outing. The two-hour route crosses jungle paths, dirt sections, open scrub and the coast, with enough loose surface to make the steering earn its lunch.
Nas leads the longer rides with a pace that can stay lively once everyone has found the throttle. Beginners get a manageable introduction, while experienced riders have room to use the engines on the rougher stretches. The half-hour circuit is the quick fix for families and first-timers; the one-hour ride is a better first outing if wrists and forearms are still negotiating terms.
Koh Lanta Noi is part of the appeal here. It is quieter, wilder and less polished than the island’s familiar beach strip, which is precisely why the route works. Sunset beach riding is the photo stop, though the muddy jungle sections are more fun than any camera roll will admit.
Hotel pickup is available, so the practical challenge is choosing between an hour and two. Pick two hours for the varied terrain; a short track session only shows one small corner of what these machines can do.
