By The Sea Massage
Description
Deep-tissue work here has proper bite: shoulders, side-back muscles, jaw tension and those knots that have apparently bought property in your neck. Yui, Roong, Kim, Laila, Rin and Pui all know how to find the sore bit without turning the session into a contest of endurance.
The treatment beds face the sea, with face cradles that spare your neck the usual massage-table gymnastics. Late in the day, the waves carry most of the soundtrack, and the soft light through the curtains does a great deal without becoming a candle-based hostage situation.
Book a neck, shoulder and back session for travel stiffness, or go deep tissue if you want serious pressure. Foot reflexology and Indian head massage are strong choices after a long day on scooters, boats or bad hotel pillows.
The aloe vera massage is the sensible repair job after too much sun, while coconut oil offers the slower, calmer route. Finish with the tea and sit facing the water for a few minutes; rushing straight back onto the road would be a strange use of all that effort.
