Koh Rok and Koh Haa are Tin Adventure’s strongest card: three snorkel stops, a beach lunch on Rok, and crew who know where the fish are hiding. Koh Haa delivers the better underwater stretch, with reef walls, small caves and far more to stare at than your own elbows.
The speedboats are modern, steady and properly set up for a full day offshore. Masks and snorkels are in good condition, drinks and fruit keep appearing, and the beach lunch has included curry, fried chicken, rice and a vegetarian option. Private charters are the smart choice for groups wanting Phi Phi, Emerald Cave or quiet coves timed around the boat traffic.
Rok and Haa involve long stretches at sea, so this isn’t a quick dip between cocktails. The shared boat can feel packed at boarding points, and total snorkel time is limited across the day. Families do well here because child-sized lifejackets are available and guides accompany nervous swimmers in the water.
The 4 Islands route is less compelling for snorkelling; put the budget toward Koh Rok and Koh Haa. The useful extra is the captain’s local timing – empty water at a famous island is basically sorcery with an outboard motor.
