A 125cc Honda Click or Scoopy is enough to get from Saladan down to Mu Ko Lanta National Park without turning the ride into an expedition. Anny rents scooters for short island loops and longer stays, with multi-day and monthly hires part of the usual setup.
The handover includes a walk around the bike, and taking a video before leaving is sensible. Helmets are available, and the shop takes a cash deposit plus a copy or photo of ID. Check the brakes, indicators, tyres and fuel level before rolling out; Koh Lanta’s roads reward this tiny burst of adulthood.
Anny also sorts onward transport and boat tickets, useful after you have spent several days treating the island’s length as a personal racetrack. English communication is clear, and extensions can be arranged for longer rentals.
The fleet includes older scooters as well as newer machines, so inspect the exact bike. The restaurant beside the rental counter is handy for settling plans over a plate of Thai food before heading south.
