Slava Total Workout
Description
Seven stations, one minute each, short rests, then three rounds – Slava Total Workout is Koh Lanta’s proper morning HIIT session. The warm-up borrows from Muay Thai, and the circuit changes enough to stop your muscles learning the route home.
Slava watches form closely and adjusts movements around injuries, rusty joints, or a long break from exercise. Beginners get clear corrections; fitter regulars get harder versions and fewer places to hide. The music is loud enough to keep the final round moving, which is useful because your legs will have filed for early retirement.
Training happens in an outdoor, shaded gym, so it feels good in the morning and decidedly tropical once the humidity gets involved. Bring water, expect sweat, and leave the beach yoga mindset in its little cotton tote bag.
This suits anyone wanting structured exercise. The sessions are compact, varied, and demanding, with technique treated as part of the workout. Slava’s cueing stays specific right down to posture and range, so the burpees at least have a fighting chance of being recognisable.
