Chomview Water Park
Description
Eight or nine slides, shallow splash pools and a row of sunbeds make Chomview Water Park a solid full-day mission for children who still consider a hosepipe an advanced engineering project.
The smaller slides and play areas suit younger kids, while older children and teens spend most of their time rotating through the taller runs. The pools stay shallow, so this is built around splashing, sliding and repeated laps.
Arrive early for the quietest run at the slides. Families fill the park later in the morning, though it remains a small operation.
Adults should leave the big-slide heroics to the children. The slide landings are shallow and some surfaces are slick, so move carefully around the pools and keep heavier bodies off the faster runs. The café, sunbeds and shaded breaks turn it into an easy base for a hot afternoon, while the water play gives kids enough to do without needing a separate beach expedition.
