Bow's Pizza
Description
The thin crust at Bow’s Pizza lands crisp at the edge, properly chewy through the middle, and carries toppings without collapsing into damp cardboard. The tomato sauce gets two days of attention, which is more patience than most of us manage with a holiday plan.
Salami with extra cheese and onion is the safe bet for carnivores. The seafood pizza has proper island logic, while the vegetarian pizza with egg gives non-meat eaters something more substantial than a reluctant scattering of mushrooms. Hawaiian is popular here too, because Koh Lanta has wisely declined to join Italy’s pineapple emergency.
The menu stays focused on handmade pizzas, plus chicken with vegetables and shakes from next door. Watch the pizzas being stretched and cooked at the front; it is dinner and a small, flour-dusted theatre production.
Seats fill up early in the evening, and takeaway travels well for a beach dinner or a next-day dive boat lunch. The chilli oil deserves a careful first pour, especially on the salami pizza.
