Eco Restaurant
Description
The Hot Pan arrives with flames on the sand and enough theatre to make nearby dinners briefly forget their phones. It is cooked beachside, then followed by a proper Thai meal.
Garlic and pepper chicken is the sharp, savoury pick, while the Pad Thai, curries and Thai stir-fries hold their ground. Finish with mango sticky rice or a mango lassi – the lassi has earned a devoted following for good reason. Portions are generous and the food stays firmly on the affordable side.
The setting is a quiet stretch of beach with swimming water, sunbeds after ordering, and a sunset view that needs no decorative bamboo quotation marks. Settle in for lunch, stay through dusk, and let the waves handle the background music.
Atu’s family-run place also runs private fishing trips, then cooks the catch back at the restaurant. Eco is for beach days that turn into dinner without anyone needing to invent a second plan.
