Description
Pistachio, tiramisu and Thai tea gelato give PuRr Gelato more purpose than a quick sugar stop on the road back from the beach. The pistachio has the proper nutty depth, while passion fruit cuts through Koh Lanta heat with zero fuss.
Baiyok and Taem make the gelato fresh and keep rotating flavours, so the cabinet rewards repeat visits. Banoffee, Biscoff, hazelnut, yogurt jelly and chocolate have all had their moment here. Sample before committing; choosing gelato in tropical heat is not a decision for reckless people.
Dairy-free versions sit alongside the dairy flavours and don’t feel like the punishment section of the menu. There is seating inside and out, good music, and the small room has enough character to turn a cone into a proper pause.
The shop sits beside Baiyok House, handy after a beach swim or while passing through the area. Start with pistachio if you take gelato seriously, then return for whichever new flavour has appeared in the cabinet.
