KinBurger Beach Hut
Description
The double cheeseburger lands with a proper smash crust, gooey cheese and a soft bun that holds together until the last bite. KinBurger does the simple American-style burger job better than most of Long Beach, without turning lunch into a culinary thesis.
The BBQ double is the richer pick, with sauce doing more than decorative squiggles. Oklahoma onion burgers are on the board too, while hot fries and crisp tater tots give the mains sensible backup. Burgers run salty, so leave the extra seasoning shaker alone for once.
This is a beach shack, not a sit-down restaurant. Order at the counter, collect your food, then take it next door to Ozone Beach Club for a drink and a seat facing the Andaman. Sunset, house music and a double cheeseburger is an alarmingly effective use of an evening.
Beach-side lounging requires a drink order from Ozone. The sand-side tables and loungers beside the hut are the point – burgers taste better when the sun is dropping behind Koh Lanta.
