The buffet is cheap by Klong Nin standards, while the club sandwich, hamburg, Pad Thai and Thai curries are the safer bets from the wider menu. Fresh coconut and mango lassi fit the setting far better than a serious coffee expedition.
The kitchen does straightforward Thai and Western holiday food, not clever coastal cooking. Settle in for a long lunch or a lazy dinner; this isn’t a place for anyone timing a ferry connection with military precision.
There is no alcohol, so bring a different plan for sunset drinks. Pick a table close to the beach edge, where the sand, sea and evening light do most of the decorating.
