Description
Bamboo huts, fan rooms and a five-minute walk to the beach put Rimsuan House firmly in the cheap-and-simple camp. The better rooms have a private shower and toilet; the huts use mosquito nets and deliver the full tropical-night soundtrack, geckos included.
Nusnee Restaurant downstairs is the stronger reason to stop here. Thai food is the useful on-site option after the beach, and the surrounding strip has cheap restaurants, laundry, scooter hire, 7-Eleven and Mini Big C within a few steps. Secret Beach sits about twenty minutes away on foot.
Pick a proper bungalow or fan room if low-cost accommodation is the aim. The tents are floor-level camping with thin bedding, and the bamboo huts are compact, hot-water-free and deliberately basic. Wi-Fi is patchy, so digital nomads should keep moving.
This suits Budget travellers who want a local base around Klong Khong and don’t need polished rooms. The little geckos handle the insect patrol with more enthusiasm than military precision.
